Caritas is the latest CD album from the Daughters of Mary, which includes many of their favorite hymns and Gregorian Chant selections from the different seasons of the Liturgical Year. The traditional Catholic hymns and Gregorian chants on this CD are appropriate for many occasions, including Lent, Easter, Blessed Sacrament, and Marian Hymns, plus several other general purpose Catholic hymns and chants. Some of the songs even feature harp accompaniment, played by the Sisters of the Daughters of Mary congregation, which is quite appropriate for such angelic, heavenly music!

This new release from the Daughters of Mary has come out just in time for Lent and Easter, plus May is the month dedicated to our Heavenly Mother, the Blessed Virgin Mary. Order yours today!

In the summer of 1984, the Congregation of the Daughters of Mary, Mother of Our Savior was founded. For a Novitiate and Motherhouse, 14 acres of property in the Catskill Mountains were acquired. The Novitiate was named after St. Joseph, to whom it seemed quite fitting to entrust the care of the Daughters of Mary. St. Teresa of Avila also named her first foundation of the reformed Carmelites in St. Joseph's honor. With this great saint as protector and intercessor, St. Joseph's Novitiate opened its doors in the summer of 1984. The little community of the Daughters of Mary began with three Novices and seven Postulants. Over the past three and a half decades, the Congregation has grown steadily. As of 2016, the Daughters of Mary has 68 members in four different religious houses.
